Straight from their website:

Quote

Reload with ease and and never lose paint. The Crown SF is based on the upgradeable finger Crown2 platform and features Spring Finger technology. The Crown SF is the pinnacle of speedfeed evolution. Instead of a rubber hinge, each Crown SF finger is attached to a feather light spring, allowing it to flex downward with the slightest touch and immediately spring back to the closed position. This allows a perfect feed, with no paint loss. The Spire Crown SF features it's own built-in hinged lid for easy bag-reloading in the pits and button-locking mechanism to prevent it from ever opening accidentally on the field. When those rain clouds make an appearance, the Spire Crown SF Quick Release back shell allows for changing back and forth from Speed Feed to Lid in mere seconds.

Price is $45. Do you think it seems like it's worth its price?

I guess if you're set on making the Spire your go-to loader for a long time, and you've got the money....

$45 for a speedfeed just seems really excessive.

It seems like it takes more material to produce than would most hopper speedfeeds, and it seems like alot of people bought spires,so...

That puts you at a $200+ loader... I'll stick to used for that price. Or just a Spire w/o a speed feed.

The crown 2 costs 35$ and this is 10$ more, it's not that bad if you look at it that way. Anyways , I think i'll just buy the Crown 2 anyways...

Watch another CrownSF Video, from PunisherPB.

CONFIRMED: Will be available for Rotor, Prophecy and Universal!

I'm so tossing $80+ at speed feeds, one for my prophecy and one to go with either my (halo or Magna) or my revvy

EDIT: I know what my buddy might get for his B-Day, after his crown broke

Thats my biggest turn of with the Spire. Its an awesome idea, especially if it rains a lot where you live.

I see why someone would pay the money for it, I just dont know if I could force MYSELF to.

I'm gonna be getting a yellow one with my spire, but having already seeing these in action they're great I have seen people fill a pod then take it off their gun then just start shaking. Never have I seen a ball leave the loader from the speedfeed. Definitely worth the money.

Very overpriced. These things probably cost a dollar to make overseas.

Agreed on the pricing, but it's Virtue. They kind of overprice things to tell you the truth.

Dye makes very fair prices for their guns and loaders. I mean the technology of the guns make it ok to be the only $1000+ gun without an OLED board and I can totally justify $200 on a hopper because it can feed 50+ bps, because everyone shoots that fast.

The only disadvantage over any current ones is that for some speedfeed that open up like a lid (example prophecy speed feeds) they can be filled to a point where you have a volcano/peak and you can hold that extra 1-5 balls. Other than that and doing stupid stuff like pulling the teeth too far the wrong way it is one of the best if not the best speedfeed money can buy

i have tried that speed feed on a rotor... its the best speed feed i have seen.. balls dropp in so easy. you can just lay one ball on it and it will dropp down. and balls will not come out of it.. its like having a magic force field.
