i am deciding on what to do as my first pump gun, i have played pump before and am now just looking for my first pump paintball gun

why would buying a used sniper for 300 have any advantage over buying a ccm pump kit and a delrin bolt for 130?

I mean you have the money for an Empire Sniper and it does not have it's advantages over a normal pump. They just come with great CS and a barrel kit.
If I was in your position, I would keep my cocker and get another one that had been pumped already.

yeah but i kind of wanted a carbon fibre tank and a mini/proton/g4/rail, which at my local shop would most likely run about 325 bucks for the package or 300 for the rail

Barrel kit is another and the sniper barrel kits don't come cheap either

buying new is always nice... everyone should do it at some point with a pump! and if you buy used you may never know what people have put into their guns, and run across some funky problems from time to time because past user/owners care of their guns

Yep used you can get shit like broken feedblock and no saftey, and then get a trifluted hammer and a upgraded tpc on the same phantom. It can go either way!
And totally agree with owning new eventually, I'm hoping for a new j12 after the initial 50 marker run so I can maybe get it with a longer reg and 86 or 45 grips

id put a kit on you're cocker and buy an electro.
if you plan to play speedball then it will help to have more rate of fire then a mech cocker

Lol there's only one speedball field at my field and its got maybe 10 bunkers on it, also kinda leaning toward a grey ghost

There s nothing funer or more satisfying the building your own pump just the way you want it. I personally think cockers and snipers have way more character then phantom s. they all look the same to me. Cocker Pump all the way. And if you want speed later on buy a cheap spoillie.
