orings in spoolies test proposal for punkworks

hey cockerpunk and brycelarson, i've just seen the 'throw to forum' vid and one thing came to mind, maybe you guys can test on it...

I've seen spoolies with so few orings (SLG, DP G3) and also spoolies with so many orings (PMR). I'm curious if the number of orings actually affects the efficiency/performance/consistency of a spool valve marker.

As far as i know, spoolies have first shot drop-off and poppets don't because there're more orings in spoolies that come into contact with the inner body of the marker. But among spool valves, does the number of orings affect the way a marker shoots?

Amount of o-rings are based on the bolt design. For spoolies there is balanced, unbalanced and sear design (another unbalanced bolt.)


Poppets also have FSD.
