The best is very subjective. What do you want out of the gun?

Quiet, fast, smooth....and reliable.

If you want reliable (and easy to maintain) I suggest that you keep the the poppet side of things, specifically stacked tube poppets. Unfortunatly, that means taking a bit of a hit in the smooth and quiet. However, you can still get poppets that are pretty smooth and quiet. I would look into the Cyborg RX, Creed, or Alien markers. For simple spoolies, I would look at the Geo or the Quest.

If the Victory comes with a pressure tester, then I would go Victory. I do like the Geo, though.

Edit: I forgot to ask, is it a Geo+? Or one with a GST and GR2? If it doesnt have those, then I would most certainly go Victory, and then just figure in the extra cost of a tester.

Yes the victory does come with a pressure tester, it is a geo +, both are very nice guns I have never held a victory but i soon will at my local paintball shop, I know the geo felt nice. What feels better in your hands?

The Geo has nicer feelings grips, in my opinion. However, the OOPS ASA on it has the macro coming out the side, so depending on you, it might be annoying. Most people dont like macroline that comes out the side, because the fitting annoys them/digs into their wrist. The Victory doesnt have that, since it has no macroline. The Geo will be easier to fully maintain, but will need maintenance more frequently. The Geo is easier to troubleshoot, though, and doesnt need to be tuned.
