Yeah, the first time you mentioned the i3 soft ear mod, I went over to Nation to check it out.
I found the thread where the guy shows us what to do, and it looks pretty cool and easy.

my friend is an idiot he was going to trade in prototype (witch i have with me i borrowed it), mirror's edge, and fifa 2010 plus 3 other games (can't remember all the names) for black ops

and he got all those games plus a 360 for 100 bucks

It is pretty damn easy. I didn't even go off of a template I just went off of what the vid showed on youtube. Instead of a lighter you can use a gas stove as well to melt the ends. The i3 ears are definitely more durable than the proflex ears as well and fully protect the ear problem.
