Is this a good trade up or am I getting ripped off?

IMO.. stay with the Axe, more efficient and can/will be as smooth as a geo after a good break in and tuning...

I think it would be in his favor by quite a bit.
I have and I always will be a Christian Baller.
My setup: Because I'm a bad*** Tippmann 98 custom with a shake and bake and two 20oz C02 tanks. Be jelly!

The geo + will never shoot like the axe. geo+ is a jackhammer while the axe is pretty damn smooth. IMO keep the axe if it were for a geo 2 i would say trade it but since its not dont.
Current Setup: Ego 11, Empire Prophecy, Ninja 68/4500

uhhh I have both guns, the axe is nice but the geo will feel better in the hands and is every bit as smooth as the axe if not smoother. Axes are selling for around $300-$325 if they are stock and a geo+ will get you $350-$400 depending on the condition.

Your call, they both shoot amazing. The axe is slightly easier to take care of if that means anything to you. The geo will have a better stock barrel, board, packaging, and feel... I'd go with the geo+. It's not much of an upgrade if you've already upgraded your axe though, if it's a stock axe I'd take that in a heartbeat.
