This topic is for all players in and around the Newark area that know of or have been to Discover Diving and Paintball. I have unfortunately just learned that they have had a series of break ins in which the thiefs took only paintball guns. In one instance the police were at the store within 3 minutes of the alarm going off but still could not catch the culprits. The store now has to take extreme measures to protect the guns as the insurance company has stopped covering their losses. If anyone knows someone who might be the culprit or has information on who it is please I beg you to come forward. These are nice people running a nice honest business who dont deserve this. They are now even considering halting their sale of paintball goods because of these losses.

Do they have a list of items, and serial numbers of the stolen items?

I will try and keep an eye out for items showing up at the field if they do.

Great news! I just went in there today and learned the police have apprehended the robbers and they have confessed. They are looking at 9 counts of armed robbery of other stores in the area and will be in jail for a long time hopefully. Unfortunately the police were not able to recover any of the stolen paintball markers. I ask anyone in the area to please try and pay some patronage to this local store! They are really nice and friendly and can get you anything you need at a great price! I would love to see some support for them as this will also help them recover some of their losses. Thanks guys!
