Some how my stock bolt broke. Not really sure how it managed to do that, but it did. I didn't do anything to my marker to make it break. I'm just shocked, it could have been to much stress on it but i am not that great of a player. LOL, anyway I guess I'm going to be getting that Techt hush bolt sooner than I thought! Any insight on how it might have broken is greatly appreciated! Thanks

I'm assuming it's the FX? I'm not sure why it broke, but I've heard a few people with the same issue. Sucks that you have to spend money on it, but you can't go wrong with TechT.

I had the same problem with my FX.  There are a few posts here and on Pbnation about this issue. No one is sure how or why it breaks, but it does happen.   I upgraded to the TectT bolt and ram.  I love both upgrades and they really make a difference with my FX.   Sorry your bolt broke, but it's a great chance to upgrade!  You won't be disappointed.

The TechT ram for the FX is also a great upgrade.  You should try that next.  Have fun with the gun!

What material is the stock bolt made of?

The failure probably has something to do with fatigue failure and material defect.
