Welcome to the Death and Taxes Official Team Thread.



Who we are:

We are a new team as far as title, but not as playing goes. All of our members have years of experience and look forward to play against the best that our state has to offer. Our team is a tightly knit group of friends that have played for over a decade, and the better part of twenty years for some. Most of our play takes place on scenario fields, but we are now switching gears to become a more Speedball oriented team. We are not professionals by any means, but our willingness to learn and consistently improve our game puts our members in a similar mindset of just that. We treat other players and fields with respect and would like nothing more than the same in return.

Interested in:

• Practicing with other teams.
• Tournaments that are local to the tri-state area.
• Networking with other teams or players to improve on play.
• Still having fun while being competitive.
• Constructive criticism.
• Events
• Recruitment
• Issues regarding members of Death and Taxes

No interest in:

• Trolling / Harassment
• Drama
• Disrespect

If interested in a joint practice, please contact us via PM or email. We will work with other teams to schedule a date that works for both parties. Weekends are preferred but weekdays are always an option if a field is open for after work hours.

What does tri-state area mean? Middle, south, east, west?

Tri-State as in Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois. We play, or have played, everywhere surrounding the Detroit area; including but not limited to Lone Wolf, Futureball, Action Paintball Park (fka No Limit Paintball Park), Killer Paintball Indoor, Cru Paintball, Warzone Paint Games, etc. etc. We're always looking for potential recruits as well as teams to practice against. If interested please feel free to either leave a post here, or on facebook.

We are currently looking for a solid fifth player on our starting line for our five man. We are currently looking for a snake player, but if you play other positions please feel free to contact us about a tryout date. We are also seeking a rotating alternate sixth player who is willing to play and fill in. Thanks!

Death and Taxes has added three new members to the team and are preparing for the tournament scene in 2012. We practice every weekend, contact us if you're interested in setting up a scrim or visit the website HERE if you're interested in filling out an application to join! We are always accepting applications and we're still looking to fill a full 10-man solid team.

I got to play with these guys on August 28th, 2011. I had a great time and have gotten alot better. Death and Taxes also has a good photograhper. He got some good photos.
