well personal preference is the best way find out what pants fit you best that osrt of thing but dye c9 and empire sero nine pants are great too

I don't know about the "Best" pants. It's personal preference when choosing pants. Pants are based on padding & comfortability. Dye, Proto, Empire & Eclipse are great pants, a bit pricey, but the more you pay, usually the better.

I love my Empires. But I'm thinking bout the PE distortion's. I'd agree with everyone else and say try them out for yourself.

i used to have proto's and they worked amazingly, but sadly i lost them over my 2 yr break from pb (forgive my sins), but now i have the 09 PE distortions which are great but a little stiff at the waist. hope i helped.

I rock the jt pro's. I <3 these pants. They have great padding where you need it. Ware and tear on the knees has been minimal. comes with alot of nice fetures. Empire pants are also pretty nice. Proto or Reds if your on a budget Im not really digging the padding oin these as much as the jt's. Check around there is alot of reviews on pretty much everything you can think of. good luck

it depends, I have the Proto 08 pants and they are a great pair, but look into Proto, Dye, Empire, Eclipse, maybe JT.

I have some 08 protos and they're awesome pants....

I also have a pair of eclipse 09 distortion... definitely more rugged and have waaay more support and padding than my protos... plus they have kevlar weave in the knee padding, so they add more durability...

I gotta add one thing tho, which is really important- ALWAYS TRY THE PANTS ON FIRST BEFORE YOU BUY THEM. my protos are size small, but my eclipse are medium, and my eclipse are a bit smaller in fit than my proto... maybe due to the extra padding, but nonetheless, they are still tighter fit.

whatever you buy, they will always be a bit stiff the first few days of play... remember, you get what you pay for, but you can always find awesome deals on really good gear
