I had an SP1 for a bit too. Over 6000 rounds put through that gun in one summer, never broke a ball. Just never got used to having a stock.

None of the guns I've owned really broke paint,
Heck a couple weeks ago I went to play outside, was -30c out and the only guns that WEREN'T chopping the 4-star were the 98s

I have yet to break paint through my GoG eNMEy, and I've used the good quality RPS Premium and Evil paint at Disruptive to the shitty whitebox paint from my other local field, and it hasn't broken one out of the 3 cases I've shot through it. But it's a relatively new gun, so I'm not sure.
So far, the only gun that I'm sure won't break paint is either my eXTCy or my single shot musket.

My EGO does great unless we are at a tournament and get crap paint. Fresh paint always helps and non-dimpled paint is a plus as well. Also, make sure that the bore size matches up because that can cause the paint to break. Plus, you get mentos out of some of that cheap paint which causes a jam in your hopper and then game over <_<

I've only put one case of paint through my 98C ACT, however thus far not a single chop/break.

My clone VX has been awesome for me, best shooting, most reliable I've ever owned. Shot flawlessly in a 37* 15bps tourny, never broke one ball, or had any problems, when my team mates Geo2 and Axes went down through the day.
I had my first break in it this weekend, but the paint was so brittle it was breaking in hoppers from moving around the field lol.

Ive actually broken paint with that a ton. Yeah you dont really wanna use ultra evil or marbs on these things. More....winter paint or harder woodsball paint.

Empire Sniper Pump or Angel GAT+ , has never broken paint since I got it in 2006. Shot about 30 -35 cases (I didn't go paintballing too much).

for me it has never really been the gun i was shooting. My axe and drone have both broken paint (my g6r has not since i have not played with it yet) but the main cause for the paint breaking was really crappy paint that was completely oblong and one time, i decided to shoot indoor paint outdoors, that didn't end well.
