You should be able to reinsert after grabbing paint, but it will be at a respawn point. Just ask our event organizers about the rules

So do you have to pay for the paint at the respawn point or say have your own bag of balls there ?.

Oh I read that wrong I got ya, refill then go back in at the respawn point

Well paint isn't free so yea you have to buy it.

Again, you will have to ask the owners of the field what their rules are

alright, in scenario games, they typically have "insertion points" from a particular spot. Usually called the "hospital"

With some games, it's 10 minutes "open", 10 minutes "closed". When the insertion window is "open", you typically just have to walk up to the insertion spot/window, touch the area (maybe a rope, a pole, a tent, etc), and then you are considered a live player and can insert in the game

when the window is "closed", you have to wait in the hospital until the window is open. Some games have always open hospitals, some games have 20 minutes open, 20 minutes closed. Each producer has different rules and the ref at that station can tell you if you don't read the rules in advance.

When you get shot out, it's just like a normal woodsball game. Proceed to your pit area, fill up, clean up, go air up, and head to your hospital/insertion point to get back into the game.

If you run out paint on the field, well you can do a number of things - you can try to create a diversion to allow your players to move up, you can draw fire in one direction, so your teammates can run the other way (you go left, and then your team runs to the right). You can attempt to jump in with a mission team and complete a mission, lots of things you can do.

But personally, if I run out of paint on the field, I quickly jog back, clean up, fill up and air up... then get back to the insertion point to get back on the field.

Also, read the rules of the game before going to the event. The difference between "woodsball" and "scenario", is outlined in the rules. You don't want to be that jackass that lights up a role playing character in costume (who might not be someone you can shoot) because you didn't read the rules that says "Don't shoot role playing players in costume, who are being escorted by a ref"

A LONG LONG time ago, I was at a scenario game where this monk was walking around. If he approached you, you had to lower your weapon and bow to him. If you did not, he summoned about 50 "invincible" players who would come running through and shoot the SHIT out of your entire team in that area. They were called the "Divine Wind", it was awesome. People quickly learned, when that monk came walking, you quickly got on one knee and lowered your head. If you didn't, he would politely tell you "Bow to the Divine Wind and you will be spared..."

I remember one hothead snapped back at him "Fuck you dood I'm playing".... HUGE, TERRIBLE, BRUTAL mistake. There was about 20 cases of paint fired at that area from the "Divine Wind" players in about 45 seconds, wiped out about 100 players.

I can't for the life of me, remember when or where that scenario game was. I rode with a friend and played just one day, then came back.

Quite honestly, you are more likely to be shot out before you run out of paint.
At which time, you leave the field and return to your starting point.

You should use that time to refill air & paint, clean off any hits and rehydrate before returning to the game.
That's the beauty of scenario games - even if you take a break the game continues and will be waiting for you when you get back to play.

For myself, I buy paint when I get there and leave most of it locked in the car. I only carry what I think I'll need for the next scenario mission (which can vary) Some missions I run light because I need to move more than shoot or because I intend to run into the middle of a firefight and get eliminated quickly, others like a final battle I carry as much paint as I have.

Yeah I think ill take a backpack and pod pack, I dont intend on just running straight through and maybe a backpack would give me some added patience :)

Reading this game me an idea for the next scenario I go to. Fill up your pod pack then take a little backpack and put several full pods in it. Odds are your not going to shoot all pods before you get hit. So when you go to reinsert just take fresh ones out of the backpack and fill your pod pack. That way you get back in quick. And stay on the field longer. The only thing you would have to walk off for is air or a break.
