Just heard on MSNBC that when they searched his apartment they found paintball gear. I hope this won't cause the same movement that was pushed in Germany a few years back.

Wow. This horrible incident just keeps getting worse and worse every time I hear about it. I hope they lock this guy up for a life in the worst prison possible.

He's prolly getting death sentence if Colorado actually decides to follow through has appose to delay delay delay.

I don't see this affecting paintball negativley. Really stupid people will think paintball turned him into a killing machine but anyone that can think for themselves in the slightest will figure out that it didn't cause him to go on a rampage. This happens to video games all the time, they're still pretty strong.

People in the media always need a scapegoat for a person like this. otherwise it would be boring if they said he was a little weird but normal, then one day he snapped. Remember columbine? They tried to blame video games for their "act of violence". Bullshit. The kids where outcasts and wanted attention. they had notes about how they wanted to "outdo" some other tragic events like the Oklahoma city bombing. The guy from Colorado clearly wanted attention. thats why he called himself "the joker" (not to be an ass but the joker wasnt in that movie. The shooter got what he wanted, attention. Because we gave it to him. I mean, you cant obiously ignore a event like that but, we dont need to have 2000 news stories about how he was raised and what was in his room. Personally, i dont care. all i care about is that he killed people. thats all i need to know, is that he committed the act
