When under class men start shit talking me (especially the ones that are Asian like me) I just pat them on the head and tell them "you tried" and just leave.
I mention Asian because I'm taller than most Asians my age so it makes it really easy to just reach out and pat them on the head.

I find it quite hilarious.
But anyways OP you're in middle school, it's not gonna change in high school.
I have the same problem, I tend to ignore everyone who's a bumbling ignorant fool (which is like 70%) and only focus on associating myself with the intellectuals.
It makes life so much more easier.

Don't forget the swag kids that lift up there shirt all the time, reincarnating Tupac. I have a six pack because I'm fit, and lift weights as a hobby. I've never shown it to anyone. Why do 5'11" 90 LB kids get worshiped for it?

Some 6th grader went up to me the other day while I was at the vending machine. He asked if I was in high school, I said no. I looked him in the eyes as he started talking crap about me with some girl next to him. When he was done, I just looked away without saying a word.

My grade is full of people who rap lyrics to the latest and greatest rap songs and are praised for it.

Also, don't forget those kids that act like they know everything and are as mature as the Seniors. When I was in sixth grade my friend got mad at me and called me a MILF thinking it was some sort of insult... haha.
