Ive been playing paintball for about a year now and im thinking about getting into pump. I want to buy a cheaper marker to start off. I heard the SL68 II has velocity problems with HPA, is this true? Im leaning more towards the Trracer right now, but what do you guys think? Also, do you guys have any advice for a new pump player?

I agree. You're better off with a used Sniper, but the Trracer would prove better. Have you considered the AKP?

I have an SL-68 II and I just bought a used 04 Prostock. I dont know about the Traccer but I would just find a used autococker (you can find WGP 04 Prostocks for like $100) and just buy a $30 pump kit. But if you must have either an SL-68 II or a Traccer, I would go with the traccer. The SL-68's pump stroke feels awkard, its still an awesome gun when you put nail polish detents on it though, I like it classic guns alot.
