The Axe or Vice. I would try and hold an Axe before buying, some people find it very uncomfortable to hold.

This is all you need.

I personally would get an Axe with a Boss bolt and I would buy it used.

Why the axe over the vice?
Also would Etek 3 LT be in there or vice and axe better?

There are a lot of good markers in that price range, my advise it try them before you decide.

I have an AXE with a BOSS Bolt and a few other upgrades, I like it a lot. When my son was ready to upgrade he tried mine and some others, he preferred and purchased an ETEK 3AM. A lot of people really like the Vice too, you just have to be sure it is not too used, markers do have a service life.

You should also look at the 2012 Proto Reflex, ETEK 4AM. I would stay away from the ETEK LTs, the plastic frame looks and feels cheap and the trigger feels like crap because of all the side to side play.

Good Luck!
My Rigs: Dust Black Empire AXE, Nano Feed-neck, Red Critical Axiom Trigger, BOSS V2 Bolt, 14"Deadlywind Fibur Barrel, Dye Rotor Hopper, Critical 45/4500 & 68/4500 Carbon Fiber Tanks with Ninja Regulators. Dust Black CCM T2, 10” Deadlywind Fibur Barrel, Sport Shot 100 Round Hopper, Ninja 13/3000 Tank. Dust Back Sanchez Machine SM-1, CP Shorty Gen 3 Regulator, CP Drop and On/Off, Empire Star Wars Grips, 12” Deadlywind Fibur Barrel, Sport Shot 100 Round Hopper, Ninja 13/3000 Tank.[/size]

The Etek3 LT would be good if you wanted to save money and could get it significantly cheaper than the Vice. However the Vice is just an amazing marker. It might not be as user friendly as the Etek3 LT, but it's great. I wouldn't touch the Reflex as it's not in the same category as the others. It's really a glorified eXTCy will all metal parts, quicker responding solenoid, shiny stuff, and good ergonomics. The Axe is something that a lot of people like, but I would still pick the Vice over the Axe. The Axe may be smoother and quieter, but not by enough to warrant the loss of efficiency, ergonomics, and the Axe also has that giant return spring which just doesn't suit my personal tastes.

They are not hard to maintain. Marq series are more difficult than normal, but the Vice is extremely easy to maintain. The only issue is the manuals are hard to find.

Well if you really want a gun case then here. However I would try out the Axe and Vice see which you like. Personally i would get a vice. They are very smooth shooting poppits and also sexy .

I had an AXE for a while and i love it. Easy to take apart and clean and it was smooth and quiet. But like everyone else said, just try them out and see what you like, everyone preferences are different.
When I'm sad, I stop being sad and become awesome.... true story

Send me a PM with link to markers you are interested and I will tell you if they are good deals. If you want, also post it in this thread.

you can get a used pro axe for about the same a regular one goes for new, that seems VERY fair to me, plus the pink one on trademygun.com is nice looking... for an axe
