Found a video of them combined.
Beautiful song with deep lyrics. It is about the singer(James Maynard Keenan)'s mother, Judith Marie Keenan, who was stricken with paralysis but never lost her faith. Maynard, on the other hand, had his faith come into question. She lived for another 27 years and change before passing, or around 10,000 days.
The song is tribute to her, and how if anyone deserves it ("wings"), it would be her.
Maynard has written many songs inspired by the events surrounding his mother's unfortunate life and death, not only in Tool but in A Perfect Circle and in Puscifer. All of them are deep, emotional, and powerful.
He's easily my favorite musical artist/lyricist.
On a separate note, anyone who is a musician or even a passionate music lover that overlooks Tool is missing out on a whole world of auditory art! Complex time signatures, extensive use of Hemiola, great melody, great lyrics, epic percussion and effects. A full experience to listen to any of their work, serious or comedic!
Hard to believe it's only 4 musicians.

This is my favorite track off "The Heist" - Neon Cathedrals
But Otherside from The Vs. EP is still my favorite
I prefer the version that samples Red Hot Chili Pepper's
But the other version is pretty sweet too. More focused on the lyrics without the sample.

Great stuff man, thanks for linking it. Just listened through the whole 10000 days album and it's just awesome. Such a shame that Tool isn't available on Spotify.
Even though i already posted a song, there is always one band that i find myself going back to. And you educated people can probably figure out thath this is where i got my username from.
Every song in their newest album have an english and a swedish version. I personally think that the swedish versions are better, buuuuuut most of you don't speak swedish obviously
Full album in english, some of the song fade into one other and depict the rise and fall of the Swedish Empire in the 17th century.
