Problem with empire sniper's asa

I have a ninja reg, and I'm getting a leak when I screw my bottle into the gun.
I found a video on YouTube where the guy talking about the gun is having the same problem.
I'm pretty sure the reason is the brass thing that the pin is coming out of is the reason, cause that can't fit in the cavity that the regs pin is inside of.
The leak disappears when I turn the air on .
