I went to fire my marker today, and the bolt moves, but there does not appear to be any forward propulsion.

It sounds like there is air getting to the bolt sometimes, but not all the time.
For example, if I leave it for 10 seconds, then fire the bolt just moves, but shots after that it has abit more air in it.

If I remove the hpa, the bolt stays in the back position, until I turn the eyes off and fire and then it will degas.

I assume I have a leak somewhere, but I have stripped it down, all o-rings are oiled and no wear or tear on them that I can see.
Any thoughts?

did you change the battery? sounds like the noid is sticking. Have you dry fired the gun a lot? When is the last time you serviced the noid?

Tried 3 different batteries.
I hardly ever dry fire it, I turn on the training mode when I practice on the trigger.
I made sure none of the air paths to the noid were blocked, haven't taken off the rubber gasket (best way to get it out?)
Also should the gasket have any oil or grease on it?

Did it when I took it apart first time... just redone it again.
It goes... click click click pop.
The clicks are the bolt just moving forward and the pop is half firing properly.

Rebuilt the HPR, there is no shim stack in it? Just the spring, piston and orings?

try resting the gun board! if that doesnt work maybe its your dewell?

reset the board and HPR/LPR to stock settings. works wonders, we had this issue with an alias the bob long tech's were confused as hell, took the battery out while looking at the board for 10 mins which reset it and fixed the issue. if you have to find your local PE service center, there are TONS of them. and you can call eclipse or email them, they are very helpful.

Ok, so this is a more tricky problem.

Knowing how the gun works will help you understand what's going on.

So you have two regulators in the gun right? The HPR and the LPR. The HPR is responsible for the air which actually propels the ball from the barrel. The LPR's only job is to provide air to the solenoid, which switches it back and forward to move the rammer.

So, when you marker is at rest, your solenoid has the air from the LPR pushing back against your rammer. When you pull the trigger, the solenoid switches that so that the air from the LPR pushes your rammer forward, hits the exhaust valve pin (the poppet) which lets the air from the HPR flow up through the bolt and shoot the ball.

So, obviously the rammer needs enough pressure to overcome both the spring and the high pressure air in the poppet. If there isn't enough pressure, the rammer won't hit the pin all the way.

The first thing I would do, is reset everything. Reset your board and reset your regulators. Your board is easy enough to do: Click through the menu until you come to "preset". Select "Load" then "factory". This will restore all factory settings and put the gun in semi-auto mode.

Next, your regulators. For your LPR, turn the screw until it is flush (level) with the end of your LPR cap. For the HPR, turn the adjustment screw all the way out until it stops, then turn it back in 3 turns.

Test the gun now and see if it's working for you. If this doesn't work, post back below and I'll take you through the next step

I know this sounds stupid, but make sure that your bolt is lined up and inserted into the rammer properly. Sometimes it can be finicky to align.

Hmm it appears to be "firing" more often, still has 1 out of 5 that sound low.
Note, I am dry firing it without barrel on... it 10pm at night atm so can't test it.

I will be at the field tomorrow so I can test more and report back.

I have redone the On/off purge, and except for the first shot appears to be working.
Might of just been a delay in the HPR / LPR reset.

Ok. Next thing would then be to maintain all your regs. Pull apart your HPR, LPR and tank regs and give them a good clean and a fresh coat of grease. Let me know how you go buddy

i was just going to say this, because i have managed to "fix" others people's guns just by taking out the bolt and realizing the pin wasn't lined up with the slot in the ram

So today, the first 1-3 shots would roll out and then the rest would fire fine.
Guess I am stripping it again and re-lubing everything, as my first shot compensation is not helping.

Will have a look and make sure everything is aligned when I re-lube everything.

Have you changed the battery?

The problem though sounds like it will be found in your regulators. when you strip them down, check every seal and make sure there isn't any dirt or debris in there.

I took it apart with a friend and he is thorough when it comes to cleaning his markers.
After using a few ear buds and checking all o-rings we couldn't see anything really wrong.

Put it back together and works without issues.
About the only thing he did differently was put the earbud into the solenoid and cleaned that out, so might of been some dirt blocking it.
Maybe I put it together incorrectly but doubt it.... guess I will find out if it stops again.
