Caught it flipping mats. Not many people do that this time of year, but if it isn't cold, I always find I can catch a few out of the mats.

The square bill bite is ON. I caught 3 decent fish, and lost about 6 because the Strike King KVD hooks are trash, and haven't been able to replace them.

Ice is thin on my ponds, not frozen on the lakes yest though. What would be the chances of catching ANYTHING from shore in like 3 feet deep water lol? Considering I've only caught like one small bass there I don't think they are good lol.

Most lakes here on long island are shallow like that, try finding a deep area if you know where they are

I never liked more than 2 blades on a spinner bait. I feel like it drags to hard in the water.

It was more of a joke, so I bought the flashiest, most obnoxious spinnerbait at the store.
