Just depends on what you want from your marker.

What position?
The reflex rail is great if you shoot under 6 pods a game. Smooth quiet, extremely good ergonomics, nice trigger (bit stiff for some people but I like stiff short pull). You can lighten it up by swapping the spring if you need to.
The etek 4 will be much louder, more efficient. The grips are much meatier and wider, not always a good thing if you have smaller hands. It also has a good trigger, much lighter, a different feel, not as rounded. Performance wise, it will shoot the paint you give it, and keep trucking. I have an etek 3 and the only time I take it out of the case is once every 6 months to lube the bolt, rammer, and the hpr. Thing can run dry as a bone if you need it too.
So if you are going to be shooting a lot of paint playing back, and want a tank, go with the etek
If you are going to be playing front or mid, not shooting more than 6 pods a game, and want a player on D side not to know when you pop up from snake and put a few balls his way, get a reflex rail.

i'd say reflex over the etek, the reflex just shoots nicer and in the day and age where its no longer about who can shoot the fastest it's become about smoothness.
