It'd be nice to test a "factory" P-Board and test the difference but I'm not going to go out and buy one.

Thanks for posting your tests. If you want to test a factory P-board, I can send you one if you pay the round trip shipping, but as far as I'm concerned you'll be wasting your money - it'll be identical. I'm surprised you didn't see a larger improvement in ROF. Did you try this test with eyes off before/after the mod?

It is; but I can't do it right now - I'm leaving to go on the road for work and I don't want to have your board show up after I leave. I'll PM you when I get back in November if you're still interested.

Hi,
I certainly will, but unfortunately, I am away from home for work, and don't know exactly when I will return. If you can wait, I will send you a PM when I get back and have access to my parts/tools again - but it could be anywhere from 2-6 weeks from now, depending on when this job finishes up.

I am pleased to offer my services to those Pinokio owners out there finding it difficult to find or justify the full cost of a P-board. This modification gives you the full benefit of a P-board (higher BPS, more positive feed/fewer hiccups) without the $60 plus shipping price tag.
My service costs $20 which includes return shipping via USPS Priority mail.
pay to ship your board to me for service (USPS Priority small flat rate box recommended with lots of padding)
If you do not wish to disassemble your hopper, you may ship the entire hopper to me (no long nose, please) for disassembly for an extra fee of $5. If your hopper is filthy I will clean it while upgrading your board, and hold it hostage for an extra $2 ransom. Please don't send me filthy hoppers.
I'll receive and inspect your board before beginning the mod process. If your board is not functional, I will return it, along with your payment minus the $5 USPS shipping charge. After determining proper function, your board will be modified and thoroughly tested before packing for the return trip. At this moment, I estimate I will have your board in my possession for no more than 1 business day (I will complete the mod the day I receive it, and return it to you the next day). This means that if you ship me a board on Monday, you may or may not have it that weekend - so please, take that into account. I will not be responsible for having to "slum it" with your backup hopper because you didn't get your board back in time.
Please send funds in USD only, and indicate your TechPB username, as well as your full return shipping address.
I can fit up to three boards in a single small flat rate box, so if you send in a second (or third) board for upgrade they will be discounted $5 each.
PLEASE NOTE:
As with all of the third party mods and services offered here, they are listed in the "Voided Warranty" section for a reason. If you have a problem down the line with your hopper and Pinokio refuses warranty service, that is on you. With that said, the mod is pretty much indistinguishable from a factory P-board.
I make no expression or implication of a warranty for my work. With that said, I do stand by my work. If a board I've modded fails due to my work, I will make every effort to remedy the situation, at my discretion.
