depends. if you open the reg up all the way and it regulates at a higher pressure then the mag then no. If it regs at the same or lower pressure then the mag reg then yes it will.

Will do, im just going to open it up where the reg wont do anything. Counter clockwise all the way out.

yes but my concern is that it will still regulate that air to 500 psi or less. Some regs when opened up all the way will not regulate while others will have a top end like 400- 500 psi.

i think mags run at 650 psi????
if you take the guts out of a reg it may leak. You need to get the reg to not regulate but no leak. If you can get the seat out of the piston then this will do the trick

more pressure=better for mags. they already have a built in reg - so adding another is triple regging. I don't think it's worth it. just get a gas through if you want a fore-grip.

I think im going to try to take the seat out of the piston or purchase a gas through.

put in the same amount that you took out. if you are unsure then add 2 red shims and try it. if it is too weak then add 1 silver shim at a time until the pressure is where you need it. if you add too many the reg willnot regulate and pop the lp burst disk.
