Caviar green is around 5,000 rpms. They screw you over with intelli power. If you wana save yourself alot of trouble with your first build get an intel. An i5-2500k is great and easily overclockable with the right motherboard. As for your. Ideo card if you want something that can handle almost anything get a radeon 7850. And you might wana get a 650-750 watt psu. You also forgot an optical drive. And a coolermaster haf would be perfect, they're amazing cases and have great cable management.
I know the caviar green is slow, but it has a great amount of storage space and if i want something to be fast (games), ill have the SSD for the extra juice. for everything i don't mind a slower hard drive. Also i think I'll stick to the AMD chip because it is a more of bang for your buck type of CPU. I've also heard that the Radeon cards are good for the money but i have never heard of anything great about their drivers and a last gen factory overclocked chip will suit me just fine. I think 575 watts will be sufficient for the build that i am going with especially since i am not going to be doing any overclocking. The optical drive i am getting from an old computer of mine and also i have a floppy drive reader and the case can have them so I'll put that in there too

. The case has sufficient Cable management and looks amazing

Aren't the X4 chips low end? The speed of the HD does not matter that much to me since I'll have my SDD for the stuff i want fast and the price of the green is just that good. I 'm also hesitant of the drivers on the Radeon. I think i am fine with the psu and having it non modular is a luxury that can be avoided for the sake of saving money.

I'd go with this PSU
http://www.ncix.ca/p...ir&promoid=1043 it's modular which is a huge plus, trust me. Also it's a corsair. PSU is one thing I wouldnt skimp on at all, since if it goes out it could take out other stuff. But yeah I'd go with a Phenom II X4 965, it's way better than the other one.
I was going to recomend that one, only problem is that it's 3 times what he was going to pay for a PSU.
I know, but it's the PSU. It gives power to the system, kinda important part. Here's a cheaper one

I don't have the money for that kind of supply, i think that 575 watts is enough, more so since i am not overclocking, correct me if i am wrong.
