I got to thinking about the upcoming summer and how much I actually play in the summer in this hot as hell state we call tx. So I had a idea...why don't jersey makers jersyes with removable padding and removable sleeves like velcor or something along those lines. I know in fortworth where I live we had 100days+ of 100 degrees temps. Id definitely buy one of these!

Not a jersey, but Planet Eclipse pants have removable padding.

Exactly where I got my idea from, I've cut many jersyes sleeves off because of the heat. Why can't raza or something like that make removable padding and sleeves? I think this would huge

The zippers or whatever would dig into you, unless of course you wear arm pads and such.

A good material would be the mesh double they use on basketball shorts. Reebok makes some that they sell at Sam's Club but they're only t-shirts. Light as hell, next thing to going around shirtless.

And I know how you feel about heat...

Since I'm from humid Northwest Florida, I'm in the same boat. I usually don't wear jerseys during the summer anymore just because of the heat.

Our team had shortsleeve jerseys made by Eye2eye. They are made out of a material that breathes like crazy, but doesn't have any padding, and they work great in the summer. We also have longsleeve jerseys for the cooler weather.

Wear a basketball jersey? I've seen people do it before, I think mostly for the "agg" look. It is a great solution for those extremely hot days though. You used to be able to create custom Basketball Jerseys on eastbay.com for like $30, we did it for my schools dodgeball tourney. Just a suggestion.

Also JT and empire had a basketball jersey at one point.

DYE still has basketball jerseys. I think the problem with the velcro would be that you're sleeves would be coming off every time you took a dive. I like the idea, I just don't think it would be very practical.

not exactly a doubel velco system, because without an undershirt that would dig and itch into your arms

but a pocket on the INSIDE fo the forearm, you just slip the pad in it when you want to use it and the pocket for the pad velcros shut from the inside of it

i should go to a patent office LOL

valken jerseys have velcro on the sides so that you can seperate the front and back and air it out, its hard to explain but it helps
