I know for pump it is pretty plain and simple that a litter set up is king, but I played a scenario in the fall and I used a pod pack and I did. Not have anuff room to hold every thing like a map my ID and other things that you want on the field. I see that many vest can hold all of that stuff and more. So my question o the techpb community is should I get the vest or a pod pack, or if you have any other sujestions I will gladly take them.

I tried a vest years ago at a scenario, it only lasted about 10 minutes before I went back and put my pod pack back on. It's all preference, but I always use a pod pack whether playing semi or open class pump. I just stick my map and radio in my pants pocket (I don't usually have my radio on at all times, and don't use any ear buds or mics). For maps, I always make small pocket sized maps at home before the game. If I want water, I bought a 70 ounce Camelbak-type hydration system that fits above my pod pack. My I.D. goes on a lanyard, and I tape the I.D. to the lanyard loop to ensure it does not fall off. What else do you need for a scenario? Less is better. I have never carried paint or smoke grenades, but I have more than enough room in my pants pockets for a few. For pants, I use Valken V-Tac Zulu's which have plenty of pockets. I could see where a lot of paintball pants are limited on pocket space, so depending on what you wear, maybe reevaluate your pants.

I too play pump and at Legends I carry my pod pack...2 pods for paint and 2 pods filled with water. the rest of the stuff, like Karnokr said, goes right in the pockets. By the time I go through 2 pods of paint or water, that's about time to head back and re-up anyway.

I like the GXG vest for semi play, but usually just go with an NXE 3+2+2 when im playing pump and have enough paint/water for a while.Usually, scenarios have those lanyards with pouches and I just put my ID in those.
