Yes, we know. He's asking why "it's the stupidest thing to come from Europe," when 1) it's a really good idea, and 2) apparently it's only a really bad idea to him because it comes from Europe.

I really don't see how this is useful. O get you can mark people for later arrest if there is a riot or something, but that's assuming you mark the right people. All it really does is keep the officers from getting hurt while people can still hurt each other. But that's another debate for an off topic thread.

To clarify, the only way this is effective still either involves rounding up and suppressing an entire crowd then strip searching them to find the marked perps.... Also what's to say they miss and start shooting people's eyes out or people who were not the person they intended. As for Europe it's too long to explain

In India the riot police throw dye powder at the crowd so that they can find the people a few hours after the riot. This is just a better version.
