Ok - I got one. How long have you guys been in business. Seriously, I never heard of you until a few months ago.

So maybe an intro is a good thing here.

Ninja paintball has been around making paintball products for 20 years. We started in my bosses basement making ss hoses in 1988 and incorporated in 1995 as the Hose Shop. We then had a corp name change in 2003 to PSI as we changed our focus from ss hoses to more regulators.

Ninja paintball has been OEM in the background of paintball selling to the big distributors until now. Ninja has manufactured for PMI, ACI, Tippman, Kingman, AGD, and numerous others. Ninja paintball has produced everything from hoses, assoceries, regulators, markers, fill stations, remotes and many other products.

Ninja paintball hold 10 patents and has produced 1 million + hoses and hundreds of thousand regulators.

Ninja paintball was formed because we wanted to produce a safe, quality regualtor MADE IN THE USA. Too many paintball companys have shipped their production overseas to China and are producing less and less here in America. All this does is reduce the overall quality while making more money for them without passing the savings to dealers or players.

I hope this answers your question

wow, I am surprised. I had no idea ninja had been around sense the 80's. I have heard nothing but good from users of their new hpa tanks. I know what tank I will be getting when I buy a new marker, good job ninja...

That's the kind of answer I was hoping for. So basically you are now retailing instead of just being an OEM supplier. Cool.

With today's world of "I'm importing knock-off stuff from China", I'm sure you understand why I asked the question.

Will a standard 68 tank cover fit your 68/4500 tank? Yours seem a tad stubbier than others that I've seen.

When it comes to tank covers it is hard to say what fits because there are so many different kinds. We are working on this and hope to have something soon. As for now the only advice i can offer is to check your local paintball store for one that fits to your personal satisfaction.

Is my proto slg already opitmized for shooting, I mean buy its ready to shoot without changeing the shims? And Quick question, I notice inpureities in the 68ci 45 like bubbles? Was the coat baked on? Last question, When I kinda shake it I see the fill nipple like opening and closeing, is that normal?

I'm going to fill it to about 2850psi on a scuba.

The SLG will be fine and ready to go. No need to adjust the output pressure/shims.

The impurities are tiny air bubbles in the outer gel coat. As with any item some tiny imperfections can be found. These small bubbles will not affect the tank in any way and are not unsafe. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE the bubbles. If they bother you please give us a call and we will talk about a swap.

The fill valve rivet will move with no pressure in the tank. This is completely normal and is not a concern. When you fill the tank the noise will stop as the rivet will be held in place by the air pressure. You should almost always here this sound when the tank is completely empty. If for some reason you have to change the fill valve in the future you should always hear this noise when you are done installing the fill valve.

The boobie tanks weighs about 2.1 pounds. This is as light or lighter then other systems. Ninja paintball uses a ultra lightweight bottle to keep everything as light as possible.

I do not know why they would be scratched but we do hand build each reg and test each system twice. Once when we build the reg and again when we mount the reg onto the bottle. This may produce some small marks but usually they are very small and almost unnoticeable. As i offered in the other thread if for some reason you are not happy with the system we will be happy to exchange the system, just give us a call so we can issue an RA# and verify that you haven't run over the system with a folklift or some other crazy situation.

Ok, by blow off the tank i assume you mean that the lens or clear front part of gauge came off.

If this is the case then there are a few reasons why this would occur. The first reason is physical damage, If you try and tighten the gauge on too much or you land on the gauge then you could force the lens off.
The other reason is a bad gauge. In simple terms a paintball gauge has a tube inside that the pressure enters into and then the presses against a metal coil or winding thus moving the needle to the correct position. If you remove the lens from a gauge no pressure will come out because it is sealed in the tube. If the tube is damaged then the air escapes and forces the lens off. Every paintball gauge should have a safety vent hole on the side of the casing or a clear sticker over a hole in the center of the lens.

Now most gauges used in paintball have a brass tube and winding. NINJA gauges use a stainless steel tube and winding to help prevent leaks, increase life and accuracy. This does not mean that a Ninja gauge will not fail but helps to prevent this.

Too replace a gauge please see our repair videos at www.ninjapaintball.com or at youtube. Check out the body rebuild video as this will go over the removal and installation of a new gauge. As always make sure that the tank is completely empty before starting the repair. If you are not comfortable please take the system to a qaulified person/proshop.

Almost all paintball gauge are the same and use a 1/8 npt thread and can be purchased at our website or any good paintball store.

Thanks
