i have a freind looking to get into the sport and i was wondering what i should tell him? send him some links right? and its his first time paintballing on saturday, im goin with him so give him advice and help him out right? any other ideas can you post.

Tell him not to wear a bright coloured sweater like so many other new players do their first time.

Are you going woodsballing or airballing? two very different experiences. either way, guide him through all the safety things first, safety is most important. and after you guys go, show him some PB magazines or PB DVDs so he can understand what kind of things happen, and possibly so he can learn some strategy.

I would recomend starting out with woodsball and stick with him the entire time. Make sure he wears dark clothing and doesn't make any stupid moves.

start with woods ball and dont jump into anything start by renting equipment

tell him to have fun and don't lie to him by saying it doesn't hurt when you get hit tell him it hurts a little bit and the pain goes away in like a minute and sent him some links and videos

ok here's what you do.

1) Tell him its feels like getting popped with a towel and the sting goes away after a little bit.

2) this is going to sound mean but its true, tell him not to dress like a newbie (no sweatshirts with collage football teams on them)

3) if you can play with people you know are there just to have fun, if your playing a team that wants to win your going to get dominated and your friend won't have any fun.
