I know where I stand, I prefer the smoothness and quietness of a spool. Efficiency isn't too big a deal for me. It's always interesting to get other people's views :)

If efficiency isnt a big deal, and your used to dealing with electronic markers then spool.

I am with you, I love the smoothness and quietness of a spool over a poppit.

I always fill just about every other game anyways, just cause I like a full tank.

Well efficiency isn't the only reason, you get the simplicity and easy matanence. But I like both equally.

Yeah, i guess I was mis understanding. I would say it still applies without the your. So personally I prefer spools now because now im good with teching and I get unlimited air. I like them more mostly because of the quietness and spools are having quick ways to remove the engine so a stacked tube poppet does not have an advantage in those situations.

It really doesn't make a difference to me, I play scenario so I do tend to go for efficiency though inline poppets ftw.

I'm fine with both. I actually just like the single tube guns, whether it's an inline Poppet like an etha or an axe or even a vic. I tend to put the ergonomics on a gun as top priority, along with the trigger. That being said, I think I'm more of a spool guy, since most of my markers have been spools

I like the lack of maintenance and reliability of my ego. Also now that my ego is broken in and properly tuned, it is very smooth and quiet.

There are some reasonably efficient spools out there, so I'd say spool

Both types have some amazing markers. I'm a spool fan.

More of a spool guy here. I would hate to be the guy who everyone with a halo is afraid to go near your bunker in fear that your Etek/ego/timmy will activate the halo and overfeed balls.

I prefer shooting spoolies and I've got a poppet for a back-up. Modern spools are getting awesome efficiency, but you can't beat the reliability and maintenance when it comes to a poppet.

Poppits are great because they only have to be lubes once in a blue moon. Plus theyre more efficient.
