Well about a month ago I picked up an Etek 3 AM in a trade at my local pro shop.

From what I understand it is completely bone stock and in immaculate like new condition.

Well the past two weeks I have played with it I have been completely blown away with its performance. I kid you not smoothest shooting stacked tube I have ever shot and I have shot everything from old egos to timmys to creeds and there is almost zero kick or barrel rise. I have no idea how it was tuned or what accounts for how smooth its shooting. I have owned every other model of Etek released to date and I have never had one shoot nearly as nice as this. I always assumed you could never get an Etek to shoot this nice.

I know im not crazy because I had several people as well as a ref at the field check it out and they all agreed with me.

Has anything like this ever happened to you before or have you heard of it or am I just really lucky?
And if anyone has ever tuned an Etek this well how did you do it?

i have never had anything like that happen before. Does it sound like a cannon, like other Eteks or is it really quite too.

My Ego7 was exceptionally smooth for an Eclipse gun too.

So im not crazy then, I can not quite comment on how loud it is because I have been playing inside but christ the thing is buttery <3

If you know what you're doing with the LPR and dwell, it can be done. I wish PE made a pressure tester like Bob Long does with their guns, but they prefer you to never touch them because reliability is king.

I feel the same way with my Axe, it feels like Sex, but I've had others Axes and they didn't feel nearly as nice.

Some people can understand the principles behind dual regulated markers and can adjust them properly. Unfortunately I have lots of people bring markers to me to fix/tune and they just don't get it. I like the fact that Bob Long makes pressure testers because it takes the guess work out of it for those who just don't get it. I would have thought by now that Dye and PE would have started making pressure testers for there markers.

Thing is from what I understand it has never been tuned by anyone. Aside from the basic maintenance I do the thing has never seen a techs bench or anything.

sounds kind of like my star framed etek 1. I don't know how, when, if it was tuned bu the thing shoots amazing.

My LPR is leaking from the vent can anyone help me fix this I checked the oring and it looks good and everything else seems ok just cant find out why its leaking? :/
