1.) Insert driver disk.
2.) Walk away and let it install.
3.) Come back. Has added 10,000 bullshit programs that are worthless.
4.) ???
5.) Profit.

Gets windows 7 or 8. Auto installs drivers. Only if you're purchasing hardware from shit companies does it not work.

Or conversely become more tech savvy and know the difference between "driver only" and software.

Go on the website for your motherboard and find the right driver.

WIndows always works. The problem is it doesn't tightly control what hardware it goes with like Apple does so the end user doesn't end up with an idiot proof device.

Apple is a piece of rotten crap anyway, the fact that windows doesn't tightly control hardware is a god given gift in this "we want to control everything you can do on our device(like us apple people!!) Tight ass crap companies"

What's worse? My WiFi card needing Wi-Fi to DOWNLOAD the drivers. Now, for those that don't know, Wi-FI cards don't work without the drivers, so it needs to connect to the internet to download the drives that it NEEDS to connect to the internet.

Oh, the IRONY.

Life would be easier if ASK or BING searches disappeared. Ticks me off that java wants to install them, as well as others.
