so I picked up a SmartParts Ion with a 92/4500 for $122 and also picked up a Proto Matrix Rail for $130 today. my questions are did I do good for the $$$ and for my first markers? I played 8+ years ago so I'm super rusty but have rented a while and got hooked again. I picked up a Halo Too hopper today at the local shop and will go back to get some protective gear soon.

Nice pickups. All good buys for the price I'd say, other than buying basically the same gun twice Posted Image

Is the tank in hydro? What year is the PMR? Is the Ion stock or does it have upgrades?

Ooh, nice. I approve.

You made a good choice in loader, and the Ion/tank combo was also a good buy. I was just curious if the Ion was stock.

The tank is HUGE....real light though. But I may get a smaller one and use the big one as a spare. Or trade.

I honestly wish I had a bigger tank. My 45 is way too small and my 68's are also on the small side.

Oh well, that's what I get for being 6'2".

The Ninja Dura 77ci is AMAZING. if I had the cash, I would totally get one. I'm almost 6'3" and it was very comfortable at the pro-shop. Its just slightly larger than a 68ci.

Thanks for the comments. I'm glad I came out pretty good on both deals. Everything has advanced so much since back in the day. I've got o ring kits and grease to keep them maintained. From what I gather, they're somewhat on the same level...but which one would be better for mods?

The pmr is an 07. It has some upgrades. I would use that. I had basically the same one. It's definitely up to par with todays guns still. Sell the ion.

Thanks. I mostly got the ion (from ebay) for the tank. Didn't expect I'd get it for such a reasonable price

Question on my 07 ul'd pmr. When I take the right side grip off to change the battery, when it's on and the grip open, the solenoid fires, lights turn green...with eyes on and nothing in the chamber. If I touch the ribbon on the board at the top with the grip as I'm closing it up or with my finger, it turns red and works as normal (only activated if ball is in chamber) it this normal? I'll take pics
