Hi everyone! Was just wondering what you would consider to be a normal amount of chop paintballs for 1000 rounds. I had about 3 chops with that. I don't the paint I was using was crap or what. What do you guys think?

Were they chops or barrel breaks? Those are two very different things...

If it WAS chops, check your detents.

Where do you live? Temp outside? Summer or winter paint? What name of paint?

Too often I've had people complain about the marker breaking paint only to find them using hot box or not knowing their fps.

My fps was around 280 and it's wa about 50 degrees that day. When checking the detents. What should I be looking for? Also I believe they were chops because the eye pipe had paint on it

I use hot box every week and don't even get barrel breaks. :P

I'd say check your detents, it might of just been the paint though.
Just make sure they don't look worn down, and that they are still round.

50 deg is threshold for some paint but it should be barrel breaks then. Like others say, check the detents.
