I am new to the forum as of today and need some advice. I have a old used Bob long Texas intimidator that constantly fails but seems to be working fine fingers crossed for sat. I have a steely tank, used velocity, cheap junky nxe podpack and jt proflex. I am looking to upgrade but Don't have much money at all. I am looking at a Gog Extcy, Pinokio, ans gear carbon fiber tank, and some good pants. I any advice would be greatly appreciated and I am never buying used to again.
Sorry for the long read but thanks for the help, gnarlee

that sucks that you cant even trust your own gun, unless you know what your doing then the timmy most likely wont be very friendly for you.

I know youre really new to the forum, but you should consider putting it up on the BST section on here (Buy Sell Trade). The people on this forum are extremely trustworthy and great

First of all make sure you got a great an comfortable mask. No out of the box JT raptor mask will do. I bought a pair of events for $100 while I had a tippmann gryphon! Mask always comes first the n after mask is upgraded go for other things. And if you already have a nice mask the extcy is a pretty good gun for the price range and I suggest a ninja tank (size varies with your size) then some pants you like (any major brand makes decent pants) also there is some pants and other things on sale right now at ANSGear.com.

Hope I have helped in some way!

If your vlocity is working just fine I would recommend getting the Extcy then Pinokio. If you can't trust your intimidator to work then that's like going out without a gun. You don't know if it will work or not. The extcy is a great gun! By the way, Welcome to TechPB :)

Check out intimidatorowners.com for help with the Timmy. They're extremely helpful an can probably help you out a ton. Or post it on the BST, on either there or here. Heck, I'd want to buy the thing myself probably Posted Image

i'll get it first

but if you price it right you may get most of your setup from the money that you got the timmy for.

Set up sounds great hopefully it won't give out on you, but you could see it or trade in on the BST and get a way better gun than the EXTCY.Many guys know how to fix em and the timmys are a very sought after marker. Also if you have a proshop near by they could fix it and the timmy would be way better than some EXTCY.....

Welcome to the forums!(hurry, leave while you can ) :P

And as for the soon to be setup,I would suggest getting a ninja 68/4500 because ninja regulators are the best in the buisness. You can service them yourself(fix a burst disc, clean you shims, etc.)and you can change the output pressure to whatever you want.Other than that,it seems good!
