What's a rough estimate for how many shots you can get from a 12 gram with an Autococker. Let's assume it has standard WGP internals.

Standard WGP internals won't work very well with unregulated CO2, since it's not designed for it. I'd guess in the 20-25 range.

Pre-2K, about 25 semi ~ 30-35 with a pump.

After 2K, about 20 semi ~ 25-30 with a pump.

Pneumatics will use about 20% of your air supply.

Originally they were made to run unregged Co2 since that's all there was ~ before the use of HPA & regs.

The changes WGP made in 2000 increased the air chambers to use lower pressure regulated air.
That made them less efficient running on 12g's.
Does not mean you can't.
You just have to deal with a lower shot count per 12g. And it ain't that much of a drop - only about half of that used by semi over pump.

Generally if the gun is tuned with a regulator and shooting well, I recommend trying it for a bit with the regulator and a quick changer.

I appreciate the responses, I'm a total noob when it comes to Snipers. I know sweet-spotting the regulator is recommended for mechanical/e-Cockers, but how necessary is this for a pump? What's the ballpark range for ideal pressure output?

This is a voluminous topic. Generally it's not a bad start to do it for a pump, but with pumps come other tuning considerations such as pump stroke, which can affect how you select springing and specific tuning.

QFT. I tune for a light, non-flatulent stroke.
