That's a tough one. I hate to be the first one to say it but, Spool vs. Poppet. Those two are basically made to be equals, just one spool and one poppet. They both have a solenoid adjuster, they both have the extra grip on the back of the marker, they come with the same barrel, etc. They're at the same level, just marketed to different people.

That being said I would take the Geo 3, but I love spoolies and that's what it all comes down to.

It depends on what you are looking for in a marker.
if you don't know what you want then i suggest you go to a field and try a few guns out and find what you like /dislike

I would take the Geo 3 over the Ego 11.

I would take the geo3 personally, I have an 11 myself and several teammates with the new geo

geo3 is close to as efficent as the ego, smoother and pretty much just as reliable

The geo 3 gets around 8 pods while the ego can get up to around 12

This statement isn't even close to true. The Ego11 is about 5-6 more pods off of a fill then a Geo3.
If you want a spool valve gun and don't have a sponsorship obligation to shoot a Geo3 then I would look at another gun. The Geo platform is just not as smooth, quiet, or as efficient as most other spools on the market. Even the 3 with it's updates is still not as refined as other spools.
As far as these two guns are concerned, I would get an Ego11 over the Geo3.
