What do your parents do for a living?

My step dad is a plumber and my mom doesnt work... However I'm 32 years old bro.. I'm married with 3 kids with a 4th one on the way.. Attend school at night and work/ manager at a full time job... I take care of myself ... Anything else you want to know?? : )

4 kids and this??? Good luck getting any time to use it, It would kill me having such a killer setup and not being able to play with it.
Come for my guns and I will gladly give you my bullets.

Not at the moment, lol. More power to you bro. I am 27 myself with my first child on the way. Very excited. Just was curious who was financing all that gear since as much as I would like to, and could afford to, every paintball purchase I make results in looks, comments, and generally angry behavior from my wife lol. Even if I was single though I wouldn't drop that much on a marker and gear. Maybe one day, but I am just getting back into the sport and I certainly can't play well enough where the investment would benefit me at all

I just generally see young kids get the best gear because their parents don't know what it is, and don't care. They just know their kid wants it, and if they can afford it they figure get the kid what he wants, lol. Working adults that can afford the same gear legitimately generally don't drop that much money because they had to work for the dollars that pay for the gear, so they realize the value. Anyhow, welcome!

There was a lot of persuading my wife before making my purchase on a 1,650 paintball marker... Which I admittingly got for 1,300... I'm by no means "rich".. I'm in sales at work .. All straight commission, and lets just say I had a good week : )

Hey its awesome to see people sticking with the sport, and its a badass set up for starting out, you certainly won't have much to want for with that! I am married myself, and it can be hard sticking with the sport with all the other stuff going on, but you'll appreciate it more every single time you get to get out haha.

I agree with everything you said .. Except I still want a few more things... Like a back up marker. Maybe an empire axe with a virtue board and barrel kit..?? But I cannot decide.. I guess I have a lot more reading to do..

A common philosophy around here is that the best backup marker is a well-maintained primary.
A $1000+ gun shouldn't be having any catastrophic issues to warrant the purchase of a secondary so long as you take care of it.
I would just save your money in that sense.

Yeah... That would make sense that 1,000 plus marker assuming its kept well maintained shouldn't have any issues.. But I kinda wanted a lower grade entry level tournament marker for maybe if a friend new to the sport wanted to use something other than a rental.

People are so condescending when it comes to this stuff. It's his money and he should be able to do whatever he wants with it. I don't care if you spend $3000 on a gold plated ion, it makes no difference to me. So unless he is neglecting his family or basic necessities, then there should be no issue and should not be blown out of proportion.
