Replace Trigger Proto Rail ?

Hi,
im trying to replace the trigger on my proto rail 2011
But i Can not get the tigger pin out.
i've tried with a hammer and allen key hitting it out but it wont budge more then half a inch not matter how hard i hit.
am i doing something wrong ?

i hate to ask the obvious, but have you tried hitting it from both pin holes ? ... left side and right side ... maybe it is a tapered pin, so that it only goes in one way and out one way.

could it be that it is actually a threaded hole with a long screw ?

Hit it from the left face when you hold you're marker. You don't need to use a hammer. Elbow grease and Allen key
