What is the difference between each iteration of the Geo? Seems like something sticky-worthy, if someone wants to write it up.

Im not super knowledgeable but a good start as follows

Geo 1 (2009): first ever spoolie by planet eclipse, had a few small problems, such as fsdo and bolt stick
Geo +(also 2009, maybe 2010): released with a gst kit and one other kit which idk the name of(gr2 maybe), released at same price solely to fix the few small problems with the first geo.
Geo 2(2011?): obviously a more refined geo, comes with:
  • Geo 2 GST-Style Bolt Assembly
  • Geo 2 Propshaft with Spring-Loaded Drive Core
  • SL3 Inline Regulator – Works With Any Tank
  • E-Portal Compatible – Update Firmware, Splash Screens and User Settings
  • Shaft4 Barrel 14″/0.689″ – Longer, tighter control bore improves efficiency and consistency
  • 92% Larger Multicoloured Transflective LCD Module
  • Ego10-Style Grip Frame and Grips
  • Extended Grip Pitch – Increased Comfortable and Stability
  • Spool Valve Design
  • Low Reciprocating Mass – Bolt 17g
  • ISCIS (Innovative Solenoid Controlled Isolation System) Mechanism
  • SC (Spool-Cure) Bolt – helps eliminate 2nd ball clipping in the feed stack.
  • 6-Second Strip Down – To remove and separate all internal Bolt components
  • Tool-less Bolt removal – all internal bolt components removed without tools
  • BBSS (Break Beam Sensor System)
  • Def-Tek Offset Feed
  • C-Lever Clamping Feedneck with Sprocket Wheel
  • Dual Selectable Trigger Switching – Opto and Micro Switches
  • Dual Trigger Return Mechanisms – Spring and Magnetic Return
  • Integrated Audible Beeper for Alarms and Actuations
  • Capped and Uncapped Ramp Modes
  • All Major Tournament Presets
  • 9 Preset Debounce Modes
  • 5-Point Adjustable Trigger
  • T-Rail Mounting System
Now a geo 2.1, basically a geo 2 with a pops asa, and also the geo 2 may not have had the sl3 reg. thats all i have to contribute for now, and.... FIRSTEDIT: thanks zephyr for geo 2.1 info and thanks microsoft for copy and paste lol

Pretty close.

Geo was released in 2009, and a few months later, they came out with the GR2 kit, a free upgrade for the Geo. It came with a replacement HPR piston (The original one had a weak bottom which bent easily when you degassed the marker), a new bolt front, which was a bit longer to make sure that you didn't have paintball roll back, and some new screws that had locktite or liquid teflon so they would not back out easily. Then the GST kit came out (Geo Soft Touch) for the Geo, as an upgrade, so it was available for purchase. This replaced the bolt and can with ones that made it easier on thinner shelled paint. It also came with two spacers that went on the back of the guide and helped reduce the volume in the back. This allowed you to play reball or at night, where velocity was lower, without having to change the regulator. So this led to the Geo+.

There are two Geo+'s both the same really. The first Geo+ was introduced at World Cup that year, they made 10 of them, They came in solid colors, whereas with the regular Geo's, only black was solid, the rest were one color with an accent color for eye covers, trigger, feedneck clamp, barrel tip, and OOPS knob, other than the all back ones. So they had like blue, red, green, pink, and something else for the colors. Only two of each color, for a total of 10. The other Geo+'s came out around four or five months later. Same anno patterns and everything else as the other Geo's, but they came with the GST installed.

Geo 2 was the upgraded SL3 reg (From the SL94 Ego), upgraded bolt train (Still used the GST, and was backwards compatible with the original Geo), Grip frame from the Ego 10 with the larger screen and the E-Portal updated interface, and the other little things that they updated. The 2.1 added in the POPs and the collar from the newest Ego that did away with the standard 90* macro opening, and did the 45* opening instead. They also have some new colors, like they did with the Ego's.
