I picked up one of the PE Classic gear bags today. My question is, what is the recommended way to organize stuff. What stuff should go in the big compartment and what stuff should go in the small compartment. I have to fit 2 markers, 2 hoppers, 2 tanks, 2 masks, pants, jerseys, 4 pods, podpack, some other smaller soft goods. this is what i have right now

small compartment: 2 masks

big compartment: 2 markers w/ boxes for them, 2 hoppers, 2 tanks, pants, jersey, 4 pods, pod packs, sandana, elbow pads, other small things.

What is the best place to put the mask and tanks to keep them safe?

I suggest you wear your pants, jersey, pads and mask before you get to the field.

Try to keep your marker and mask separate and make sure nothing is touching each other to avoid scratches.

honestly, the whole point of those kit bags is no organization, you throw everything in the big compartment that you get dirty and small compartment for clean stuff

I use the small compartment for 2 paintball caddies. And I put the rest of my stuff in the big one. I have one recommendation to save you a little space. Planet eclipse makes nice padded marker bag for $25. It's a nice way to get you markers to only take up half the space they would in the boxes. I have 3 of them for 3 out of the 4 guns I store. Plus to keep you masks from getting scratched up try and grab mask bags.

My gear bad holds everything but my mask , gun , and pod pack. My gun comes with its own case and my mask has a bag for it. My pod pack just gets wrapped around my gear bag.

Here's a step-by-step guide to perfectly organizing a gearbag:

1. Open every pocket, compartment, and zipper of gearbag.
2. Grab all the gear you can carry at once.
3. Throw all gear at bag. It must all land at random.
4. Stomp on gear until it fits. Swearing at gearbag may be required.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 as necessary.
6. Close gearbag.
7. Marvel at your handiwork.

Put you mask in the smaller compartment so it isn't with all the other stuff. Make sure to also put your tanks away from each other so they aren't banging around. It all should fit just have to use the space wisely.
