so, i was bored at work and decided to dl gimp and try my hand at making a sig and/or ava. well after much frustration i came up with this.

maybe after i play around with it some more and get some better images i'll start getting better...but good for a first timer? or just terrible all together?

to make sigs. Try: www.planetrenders.net
or www.premiumrenders.com
Font is also pretty important. Try: Dafont.com

You need to discover your style.
Read signature tutorials to learn techniques in sig making, personally I don't stick to tuts because I like having my own style, but every once in a while i'll try out something new.

It takes lot and lots of practicing and experimenting to get things right, just put some time into it every night and you will get better.
