Can this regulator have CO2 run through it?

That ASA is only registered to 300psi. CO2 can spike and get around 950psi and that would cause some potential damage to your marker.

No, it will not fit your gun. That is only for the guns that have the gas-through grip, like the Mini, Axe, and TMs.

Standard HP air outputs at roughly 850psi. The 300psi you're seeing is the gauge's max measurement, because that reg probably won't output above that, which is completely separate from the max allowable input. It could handle C02 pressures just fine, as long as no liquid C02 got in the reg.

maybe my thoughts were ahead of me on this one. Usually that "spike" is due to liquid C02.

950 psi is the input pressure from the tank. The 300 psi on the gauge is the output pressure after being regulated.
If the max input pressure was only 300, it would essentially be an LPR and would require a separate HPR to work.
