Can someone walk me through the process of a trade and sale so I know how to handle it when it happens. Not to sure what to do when someone agrees to my offer

Alright im gonna show you what i usually see around the threads here on techpb
Seller: $170 for a used gun
Buyer: I propose $140
Seller: Too low how about $160
Buyer: Meet in the middle? $150?
Seller: That will work, my paypal is (insert email)
Buyer: Payment sent
seller: Shipped out, tracking number #2164617467234721
Of course it doesn't go exactly that way but its like bartering with friends,usually if your selling I put the price around $10 more than i want so the buyer barters down it is still relativity close to want I want and if buying i go down around $20 to $30 depending on what im buying.Sometimes people back out so watch out. if someone agrees to your offer they most likey will send their payment info in personal message.
