Congrats to Mike and everyone involved in TechPB from all of Team ZOO (aka Team Damnation) - you've all put in a lot of hard work of the years so it's great to see that you've taken a major step in bringing the paintball community together.

We're all a bunch of 'newbs' trying to have some fun playing speedball and the information TechPB provides has helped us all learn so much. Keep up the great work!

Yea I'll be playin Div 2 this year with my team. We currently got 5 players but hopefully we'll have 2 more for subs by then.

We'll be the underdogs but we're going their for the experience.

Here is a WCA thread I created: http://www.techpb.com/forum/index.php?show...mp;#entry512138

congrats to team Damnation for their 2nd place of the D3 category during the recent 5th leg of MPOC... not bad for a 'rookie' team, eh..? ;)

lol not bad for a team playing with Minis and G3's and beating teams with Angels and Egos...

It's now 2010 and we won Leg 1 of the MPOC season...

Here's some from YouTube stuff from MPOC & WCA played at the same field. None of us in action though.

Nice pics.

WCA 09 was a crazy event. I think D2 has the best field...at least in terms of the least amount of mud. D1 had the hardest field as there were more lanes. The D1 pit was 2-3 ft of mud! You literally just sank into the mud. The D3 field had crazy mud puddles. I didn't really take a look at the D4 field.

Although I had fun. I don't think I'd go to WCA anytime soon.

Will you be participating in the upcoming PALS legs in Thailand in March and Philippines in August?

Yeh - a few of us made a point of bringing up the conditions of the fields to the WCA after last year's event. If they really want top make it a world class event they need to improve the quality of the fields. It has been a slow improvement each year but I think the pressure is on them now fix this issue. Unfortunately being in the tropics it's rainy season during the WCA so they sometimes are at the mercy of the weather. I'm hoping they can improve the fields each month so by the time WCA 2010 is played the fields are A1 condition.

Got invite to go to Thailand but half my team are away or broke. We're trying to budget for the 5 leg MPOC series and WCA. As some of the guys are from the Philippines I'd love to go to that one so I'm waiting on confirmation that it's actually going to go ahead (in the past it had been cancelled)

The last tourney, PALS 2006 in the Philippines, they had really poor reffing and problems with the air. Hope they'll solve that issue by August.
