Axe over the FX ANY DAY!!!

Better in almost every way.

Although for the money I would also look into the;

Etek 4
Drone DX
Reflex Rail

Take a serious look at the Drone its an amazing gun for the money.

Personally im a big PE fanboy, I love the Etek line for its reliability and ease of use. Its essentially an Ego without the amenities.

Come for my guns and I will gladly give you my bullets.

The drone is the best out of all those choices. Some people say that the trigger for the drone isn't great. The etek is loud

Take how loud you think the Etek is and double it.

I love how its cool to hate the Etek now. ALL Egos/eteks are loud (yes even your ego11 that you claim is more ~~quite~~ quiet than a spool)

Etek3s can be had for crazy cheap now, snag one of those and go play.

But to answer your question, personally I'd take the FX, the shot is no where near as nice as the axe, but any gun that voids the warranty if you maintenance the reg is not worth considering IMO (and for those who dont know, that means IN MY OPINION, before you crap yourself from rage.. opinion =/= fact)

It is not recommended to maintain your reg, buy you can do it without voiding warranty. You need a special tool to get into there.
