Id see if hed go lower.. Just because cp parts should nev touch a bl.

Id go with the vice over the axe anyday, just on the ergos alone. Although if you are prone to breaking things the axe may be a better choice due to Kees awesome cs.

I wouldn't pay more than $10 for a Vice with a CP reg.

Start at $290, he'll talk you up to maybe $320 or something and will probably settle for $310 or so.

firstly the Vice kicks the living shit out of an etek. With that being said I would take the Vice over an axe, the vice is still an amazing marker by todays standards from amazing efficiency, good shot quality and nice ergos. The axe is still a nice marker, but in my opinion the Vice is a much better performer.

The Axe is smoother and quieter than the Vice. The only performance aspect that the Vice wins in is efficiency. However, the Vice is easier to fully strip. I, personally, would get the Axe, and toss a Boss/Lurker/TechT bolt in it, and call it a day.

Yeah for the price I'd say get the Vice and put a LP poppet in, unless you're a spoolie guy (which you could be given that you sold your Ego, or not since you owned one in the first place) in which case get the Axe and put a Lurker bolt in it.

The build quality of the Vice is much nicer than the Axe but the Axe is MUCH better than the Mini.

The Axe is a scaled up Mini, sure. But it also has all the kinks worked out, the nice ASA, and a smoother and quieter shot. I am not 100% sure, but I have a feeling that it is more efficient as well. By the same token, I could ask why you would pay the price for a Vice, when you could just get a 2k2 Timmy. And why get a G6R, when you can get a Vice? Etc.

Also, even with the LP poppet, the Vice wont be in the area of the Axe as far as sound and shot quality. Unless you get it tapped, it will never have wrap around grips. It will still have a macroline as well, which the Axe doesnt have.

And, to note, the Axe is not a spoolie, nor does it shoot like a spoolie. (unless you are putting it up against the DP spoolies...)

Well between these two if he preffered spools the Axe would shoot the most like one is what Im saying.

True, but in the price area he is looking at, if he wanted a spool he should just get a Quest or a Droid. Even though I find the Axe to be a better choice out of these two, I wouldnt buy either one. Cyborg RX, Alien, Quest, Marq. Hell, you might even find a Creed around that area. I would shoot any of those well before a Vice or an Axe.

only sold the ego because I really didnt feel the need for a 500+ gun only play every now and then. Also my favorite gun from all the gun whoring ive done. My marq rapper was probably my favorite.

but these are some phenomenal inputs got me thinking!
