DDay adventure park did this for OK DDay a few years ago, as well as color coded paint for each side. Problem was to keep the paint at a fair price I believe they used a low grade Diablo with a custom shell. Paint ended up shooting like shit.

Now if they do something like what Paintball Explosion does with Draxxus custom then that'd be pretty sick

I think it would be really cool to have different color fill paint for each side,so you know if you got hit in the crossfire of your own team or actually got shot. And the logo would be cool, but there would have to be a fair amount of detail,or it would look shitty.

Blue and red paint would be cool, but white is usually FPO to keep it real.

CPX keeps it white so that bedlam and Armageddon don't end up stained rainbow colors. And it's also easier to catch people not using field paint if everyone is shooting white paint.

That's the beauty of having fill color not affected by shell color. Red or Blue Shell with white fill. That way it isn't crazy custom with the logo on the shell, but is still specific to which side you're on. Logo on red shell with white fill and logo on blue shell with white fill would be the ultimate, but I can definitely see a price issue come into play with that.

Just for a logistial point..what happens if one side runs out of paint? Then the cool factor wears off at the end of sunday when someone has to shoot "the wrong color" and then they go cry about it on the internet saying it ruined their weekend.

JK that's mad dramatic but I think, as cool as it would be, the different color sheel or fill would be more effort than it is worth. A logo stamp I agree is pretty chill

No, that's definitely possible given the type of people in paintball.
