My Splatmaster, when it has a fresh 12 gram, either shoots around 10 feet forward, or won't shoot at all when the trigger is pulled. It waits until the end of the 12 grams life (Around 20 shots left) to shoot at a playable speed. Is there something I can do to fix this?

  • Yes, I'm old. Yes, I'm cranky.

Try a different brand of 12g catridges. They're all different and some work better than others in certain markers.

Are you sure it's not a spring problem? I use Crossman powerlets, and they've worked fine in the Rapide.
