Do you eat them? If so whats your favorite? I regularly buy the supreme protein bars at GNC which are my favorite by far!

Unless you're training and lifting a lot I would steer clear of them. Not designed for the guy who works out 2 or 3 times a week.

It depends on what your objective of eating them is.. a lifter will eat them in between meals or snacks as a source of extra calories and protein.. not much other reason for eating some of the high calorie ones!

The problem is that even though you eat a meals worth or carbs and calories, your mind and stomach think that all you ate is a candy bar.

Protein bars often use collagen as their protein source which is an inferior and incomplete protein. Even the ones that say "Whey Protein Bars" still have collagen for half their protein. If you need extra protein you're better off with a shake. For portability you can put the powder in a shaker cup, throw it in your backpack, and add some water from a drinking fountain when you want to consume it.
